While on a recent trip to Denver, we discovered Snooze. It’s not a chain that we were familiar with. While doing a quick search for a breakfast spot near our hotel, it was at the top of the list and had fantastic reviews. So, we are very glad we found it.
Before heading out, we added our name to their waitlist. That was a great move since it did cut down the time that we had to wait for a table. We had time to walk there from our hotel and only had to wait about 20 minutes.
The Food
After being seated, we it didn’t take long before our server came by. And, she was very helpful in helping us order. Their menu has so many options and all of them sounded really tasty. There are well known for their Eggs Benedicts and pancakes. That day, the pancake of the day was a combination of peanut butter and chocolate. So, we had to try that. And, it was fantastic.
So, we opted for a variety of things. Unlike some of the other restaurants, they are pretty flexible with orders. You want half orders, they’ll do that for you. You want just a taste of the “Pancake of the Day” and not a full order, they’ll make a single small pancake for you. When we were there, the pancake of the day was a combination of peanut butter and chocolate. So, we had to try that.
We also ordered the avocado benny and corned beef hash and some eggs and bacon.
We had some of the best service that we have ever had at the Snooze Ballpark location. Aptly named, because it’s close to the ballpark. Our server went above and beyond. Once she found out that we were from out of town, she took the time to write down suggestions of places for us to visit. All of her recommendations were in the RiNo district and all fantastic. More to come soon on where we went.
Locations
Snooze’s first location opened in Denver, Colorado, in April 2006. Now, Snooze has grown to 37 locations, and each is company-owned. If you aren’t make it to Denver, you’re in luck. They have locations in Colorado, California, Texas and Arizona, but it’s heading for Charlotte, North Carolina in 2019 and Kansas City, Missouri and Atlanta, Georgia in 2020.
Since we had liked our experience so much that we decided to check out the
Union Station Location two days later. The menu is the same, but the atmosphere is definitely different.
